Landing page anatomy: one decision, proof at doubt
A landing page earns one decision. Orient in five seconds, differentiate in thirty, place proof where doubt peaks, and ask exactly once — clever copy and competing buttons are what kill conversions.

What is the short answer?
One page, one decision, proof at the point of doubt. A landing page exists to earn a single action. Structure follows the visitor's doubt curve: orient in five seconds, differentiate in thirty, ask once — with proof sitting exactly where scepticism peaks.
What goes above the fold?
Category, audience, and action — in one screen. What this is, who it fits, and the one next step, with the effort stated honestly. Anything that needs scrolling to understand belongs in the headline. Five-second tests with strangers beat internal opinions every time.
Where does proof go?
Immediately after each big claim and right before the ask. Testimonials, numbers with sources, and specifics — never a logo wall in the footer nobody reaches. Doubt peaks twice; proof must be waiting both times. Generic praise converts no one.
What kills conversions most often?
Two asks and clever copy. One page with two competing buttons is two pages fighting. And cleverness that obscures the offer loses to plain words every time. State the offer like you would explain it to a tired friend, then ask once.
